Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The bathroom was poorly designed—the toilet was unusually high with a wall in front, making it awkward to use. There’s also a frosted balcony door next to the toilet, which might make some guests feel uncomfortable. The shower was cramped, and the bathroom could’ve been cleaner. There was no towel hook, which seemed like an annoying oversight.
The room only had one mirror, so getting ready was a hassle. There’s no AC, and the only way to cool the room is by opening the balcony doors, but neither leads outside, and you’ll hear all the city noise. I can’t imagine how uncomfortable it could get in summer. The room also lacked a minibar, offering only two complimentary bottles of water. The hallways and elevators were narrow, which felt odd considering the hotel’s exterior seemed larger.
The location wasn’t great—there’s not much around in terms of cafes, bars, or restaurants, and the neighborhood felt sketchy. I also noticed a sewage smell in the stairwell and lobby.
On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they recommended a great pastry shop nearby.
If you decide to stay, I recommend booking breakfast in advance, as it’s cheaper than paying per person per day once you check in.
Overall, this hotel might work for a one-night stay if you're okay with the drawbacks and looking for something affordable. However, I wouldn’t stay here again.
