This is literally the closest you can get to the duomo, super clean room and really safe. Parking is a bit pricey and its a bit hard to find the entrance but once you find it, it's great!

The hotel location is one of the best perks. Right across the cathedral and Duomo. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags before check in time so we can enjoy the city. I highly recommend it!

The property is well situated for sightseeing,train station etc Everything is provided to a reasonable standard. The reception staff were very helpful, provided use of adapters when mine didn’t work. Provided maps of the area. The lift to our rooms is quite a feature. It takes only 3 persons at a time , the inner door of the lift opens automatically but the outer door has to be opened manually. The rooms are on the first floor so stairs can be used if preferred.

This property is so close that you feel like you can reach out the window and touch the Duomo. It’s a very convenient location right in the middle of the action however be warned there is a lot of activity right outside of your window and you will hear people until the early hours. This did not bother us so it was perfect. We also had to request an after hours check in due to travel delays and it was very simple. We were given exact instructions, and it was no problem at all. We enjoyed our stay very much.

While centrally located, the property was not worth the price. There was a septic smell coming from the bathroom and the staff were not as communicative and helpful as the description of this property promised. For the money, I'm sure you can find better accommodations near enough to the city center. For ~100 euro less a night, I'd say this is a fine enough crash pad if you just want to be in the center of the action but otherwise... would not reccomend.

You should know, the ‘front desk’ is not staffed like a normal hotel (hence the bed & breakfast). When you give an arrival time, it’s more like a scheduled appointment. We were navigating our way to this location in a rental car in Pouring Rain so we were late to arrive. The woman greeting us to check in could not have been kinder. She completely understood we were tourists in an unfamiliar area & delays happen, so we were really grateful for that warm reception. Truly, such a nice woman. The location is incredible. Literally like the pictures. You cannot stop looking out your window. Beds were pretty comfortable & we were given extra pillows upon request. Regarding the smells, there was a constant rotten egg odor from the bathroom which we understand to be normal for Florence. We kept drains closed & covered when not using & that helped a lot. You get used to it. Bring your own toiletries, those were sparse. Coffee Station was a beautifully stocked bonus area. We were told by the cafe below that we might have coupons for breakfast but we were never offered one. I think it’s an option when booking so if that’s important to you, look for it. The yummy croissants are worth buying either way. We would stay here again for sure. It’s a really neat place.
