Not as advertised.
The property is in a great location, but it is not as advertised.
It was advertised as an apartment with an equipped kitchen and utensils. There was one small frying pan, one small saucepan and one straining spoon. There was no kettle. The coffee maker and the iron could not be used as the plugs fitted on these appliances were incompatible with the sockets in the apartment.
There were no dish cloths or tea towels to enable the cleaning up from meals. When we asked the concierge service about this, they simply said they weren’t any.
We were there for 5 nights. When we asked for clean or additional towels, we were simply told they were not available and that there was no servicing of the apartment despite the length of our stay.
The kitchen has a gas hob, however, the wall units above the hob are only 50cm clear of the burners, which is 15cm lower than the safe recommendation. This is a potential safety hazard and anyone cooking there should be mindful of this.
The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival so we needed to do this ourselves. Also, the kitchen floor hand not been cleaned properly.
