Disliked: Room comfort

Poor service, No WiFi , uncomfortable bed

The property was ok but mattress wasn’t very comfortable. Be mindful you have to climb to second floor with no lift and the stairway was rather narrow. During our stay, the WiFi was down for entire time, we stayed for 2 nights and there was poor reception inside of property like most Italian internal spaces. Hence without WiFi we were not able to access our phones for checking information nor watching smart tv etc….. They promised it should be fixed in the evening or next day and will keep us updated but we were not receiving any response since we flagged the issue.

It was just off the Palazzo Vecchio which was nice because it was always easy to find the way home as data wasn't always working well in Florence but it was on a side street that I think was overall quieter. It was close of most things in city center and had good food near it. The room was big which was lovely and the bathroom was also spacious. Its not pictured but they also had a washing machine which was so necessary. The AC also worked so well and was a God send during the 95 degree hot days

Review

This place is in a great location near the Uffizi gallery and Arne river within Florence. As is typical for Europe it's a walk up but the place itself was quite clean and muffled street noise well. Importantly, it also stayed cool even though I was there during a 100F week.
