I was there August 9-12 and the staff that was there during this time went above and beyond. Super friendly and energetic. Not the best with names but huge shoutout to the people that led the sunset tour and karaoke night on Saturday. Would highly recommend.

I was amazed at how inclusive this hostel is. The staff is super. Friendly, smart, quick. They have a kitchen available with enough free supplies that you could make fantastic family/friend meals - with numerous communal gathering areas. They also organize simple, inviting group activities. The spirit of the place is inspiring. The location couldn't be better. Straightforward, secure entry to the rooms ... exceptional cleanliness of the beds. I'm very impressed.

This was an ok place to stay (family of 4) - two parents and two adult children. Clean, you check-in at the bar and they were very friendly and helpful when we needed a very early cab to airport. However, it is quite noisy to try and sleep at night and seems to be a place for much younger adults, especially with the bar below. First night, there was no hot water (may have been due to maintenance being performed on building). Thankfully, next two mornings, we had hot showers. Beds were not great; make sure the slats underneath are evenly spaced. Makes for a much better nights sleep.

It is close to the train station, buses and trams which also means easy access to the airport. The distance to the basilica area is walkable.
