Fantastic location, responsive hosts, GREAT A/C!
Family of four with a 15 and 18 year old stayed a single night in this nice, clean and roomy apartment that was centrally located with short walks to most all of Florence’s main attractions. The owners were friendly and quick to respond to any questions or needs. House was very clean and had all the lighting we needed. I’m unsure about the review saying it was dark and needed maintenance as we didn’t notice darkness or maintenance needs at all. Most importantly to us though, was the fact that the air conditioning in this place worked and it worked well. We visited Florence in July during a heat wave (100F/38C) and arrived from equally hot Rome where our previous rental unit was miserably hot, even with the Rome owner’s claim to have a/c (they technically did, but not nearly adequate enough for temps over 80 much less 100). This rental in Florence was the polar opposite - as soon as we opened the apartment door the four of us breathed a sigh of relief walking into cooler air, knowing we would sleep well that night as a result of not sweating while sleeping. Highly recommend giving this place a try - we certainly will rent again on a return visit to beautiful Florence.
