Our cottage was spacious, clean, and super convenient to the national park at Tikal (walking distance). We ate at the restaurant 2x and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend staying at this property if you’re visiting Tikal.

Check in was fast and the room was very nice. Food in the restaurant was cold and rushed. We had to send everything back to be reheated. Communication with the hotel was terrible. Shuttle was requested 4 days in advance and although they replied once saying all was good they never confirmed or showed up. We had to scramble to find alternative transport.

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Cons: Room lacked T.V. Low water pressure. No phone to call for help if needed and no cell service. Sofa needed to be replaced. Poor lighting in room. All of this and it was a suite.
