I stay regularly due to the gym and pool and usually good value. No issues, the room was a bit tired and would benefit from a redecoration, carpets were worn etc. breakfast was tasty but only one person serving so had a small wait but overall very good value.

The staff were lovely

The room was lovely and well appointed, but unfortunately the settee was against the wall opposite the window, where as the TV was opposite the bed!! It really should have been on an arm that swivelled. The safe door would not stay shut and because the bathroom door was opposite, if you closed the bathroom door, the safe door would then trap it shut. It took a bit of manoeuvring to hold it close and open the bathroom door. Due to the time of year, the dinner menu, was very much reduced and staying for 2 nights, meant there was not a lot of choice. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Too many noise complications

Been there now 5 times. 3 times loads off noise, twice from rooms next door to ours. Once because off weddings. Never been in a hotel before with si much noise disruption. Wont be back now had enough.

Friendly and efficient staff at front desk made the check-in a very easy process, room was a good size with a very comfortable king size bed, excellent shower and bathroom. Rooms were a bit dated but very clean and tidy with tea making facilities, iron and board plus a room safe. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hotel also has a nice pool (did not use as only there one night).

Room very dated. Large black desk seat speed out paper stuffing when sitting on it, hinges in cupboards are off, shower had one setting - scolding! Bed side lampshade and bulb were detached from actual stand and placed on top. Swimming = too busy so refused entry. Staff were very nice to be fair, evening gentleman on reception did have the place stinking of cannabis however.
