This hotel was beautiful. Great views. They thought of everything at this property, great amenities in bathroom, shower was amazing, there was a tucked away space for luggage in the room, comfortable bed, refrigerator and sink area were high quality and breakfast foods were delicious - waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, lox, great coffee, pastries and melon. They offered a beach cart with cooler, towels, umbrella and chairs - wonderful! Reception staff was pleasant. Only downside was the bar wasn’t able to provide any beverages (something about liquor license). We would definitely return!

Magnificent Stay at The Barley House We had an absolutely magnificent stay at The Barley House! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome. Check-in was smooth and easy, and everyone we encountered was incredibly accommodating and easy to talk to. One of the highlights of our stay was the flexibility they offered. Since we had a late flight back to Indiana at 7 PM, they kindly allowed us to extend our check-out time to 3 PM, which was such a thoughtful gesture. A special shoutout to Michaela, Jon, and the rest of the team – their friendliness and genuine hospitality truly stood out. They even surprised us with random treats like fresh fruit and meals, even when breakfast service had ended. That level of care made us feel like part of a family rather than just hotel guests. The Barley House is not just a beautiful hotel, it’s a place where you’ll be warmly cared for. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends and love ones.

The people were amazing and even invited us to a friends and family event for the food truck opening - it was great! We loved being able to walk to the beach and easily drive other places. Luis - we are recruiters for A+ hospitality talent if you ever need any assistance recruiting! We appreciated your warm smile whenever we saw you!

I loved how close we are to the beach, loved the lobby area. And pool. The room was so spacious. Clean , dislike the parking situation. There is no valet, plenty of parking for self parking and yet I am charged $25 each day. No it’s not a huge amount but we stayed a long time over a week! Why take a deposit for incidentals and then another $25 for me to park my car ? Again plenty of parking for this time so that was confusing and I don’t think I should have been charged like that

Lots of Value, With Room to Improve We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel has clearly been recently renovated — the room felt fresh and modern. The location was less than ideal, but the close proximity to the beach makes up for it, and having a kitchenette was a huge plus for convenience and savings. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. Charging $50 per guest just to visit and hang out with us at the pool (without staying overnight) felt excessive. The floors could have been cleaner, and the soundproofing was on the lower side; we could hear more than we’d like from the hallway and outside. Despite these issues, I’m still giving 5 stars because the positives outweighed the negatives, and the value overall was excellent. We would happily return, and we hope management considers addressing some of these concerns to make the experience even better.

This hotel has lovely, very spacious rooms with great amenities. With exterior bedroom doors, basically street parking, and only a small pool, it was disappointing to pay a resort fee and parking fee in addition to competitive pricing for the rooms. We thought we were staying on a large, upscale property but it’s actually a more like a nicely renovated motel.

Barley House is a super cute hotel that has absolutely everything —there was a kitchenette in our large and comfortable room. Easy access to the beach. They offer full beach kits too, with everything you’ll want, including ice. Breakfast was included. The room was clean and modern. Check in and check out were easy.

Serene stay.

Newer boutique, hotel close to conference location. They were very communicative about being recently opened. Staff was wonderful. Lots of high-end touches. Would stay again and will recommend to family and friends who are visiting the area. They will only get better with time.

Great property. Don’t go in thinking you’re booking a five star because it’s not even close. But the place is clean, the rooms are big with small kitchenette, pool area is supper chill and inviting, they have a free basic breakfast, all staff is super friendly, they are easy walk to the beach, marina village, las olas park, or you can walk over the bridge for other shops and eateries. Uber is insanely cheap and accessible. This place is a new refurb of a previous building and the immediate area around the property is prepping for development, but that didn’t impact our stay at all. Cons: no Gym and insanely large uncomfortable pillows

This is a great place to stay. This is a sheek and trendy hotel. It is seemingly new or newly renovated. I say that as there are some things they are not staffed for yet lile the bar although they do rent the bar space out for small events. The staff were great during our stay. They have wagons with beach chairs, and ubrellas for you to check out as the beach is only a few stpes across the street. The rooms were extremely nice and clean, there are also some small food stands and bars near by within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. This was great!

We stayed one night for the 4th of July in room 103, which had direct access to the pool. However, since the door lock wasn’t working, we were kindly upgraded to a suite on the 5th floor. On top of that, the manager gave us a late check-out until 4 PM. Everyone was so welcoming—it truly felt like home. I’m definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at the barley house hotel. The staff were warm, attentive and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Basically a 2 star motel trying to be "special" putting lipstick vibe on a 2 star property. Pool was small, few real lounge chairs. The weekend pool party did not exist (4 children splashing around, 2 adults) and I have no idea how they would accommodate it even if they did have it, tiny pool. No gym. No cable TV. Property sits across from empty chain link fence lot. I considered moving hotels on day 1 but stuck it out..waste of time and $$. Room was fine, stay somewhere else on your precious vacation time. BTW, the small downstairs bar/breakfast check-in area, was "sold out" when I arrived for about 30 Guests for 2 day celebration, they also bought the bar out, so, no cocktails for "regular" (paying) guests on a Friday night. Ridiculous. The front desk agent "asked" the group leader if I could have a drink from the bar, they said yes, very generous :) awkward start to a crappy motel stay.
