161 Gulf Island: Lovely Family Home Ready to Rent!

161 Gulf Island is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on Fort Myers Beach! This property has been recently renovated and is ready to become your home-away from-home. This property is just a short walk to the white sand beach and is just across the street from the neighborhood walkway to the back bay. This street is in a great location as it's a quiet residential street not far from the Publix grocery store. Perfect for snowbirds! This home is also dog-friendly, so you can bring that furry friend with you!

The home features a lot of windows and white shiplap walls, making the home filled with sunlight. The kitchen has been updated and includes all major appliances. The laundry is located on ground level below the home. There is also an outdoor shower, making it easy to rinse off after returning from the beach!

Property is located in a quiet zone neighborhood, just steps to a neighborhood beach access point with a gazebo as well as a private fishing pier on the back bay that offers a large tiki so you can relax in the shade.

Linens are included! We provide all bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and even a set of towels you can take to the beach.

This unit is pet-friendly with a 2-pet limit, pets are limited to dogs only. A written request at the time of booking is required to bring any animal, including pets, emotional support animals, and service animals. A non-refundable $200/animal fee applies for pets and emotional support animals. The fee will be added to your booking total, with applicable taxes when we receive your Official Animal Request to our email. Additional charges will be added for each unauthorized animal if animals are brought without permission.

We would like to note that there may still be construction occurring or construction materials near the property as a result of post Hurricane Ian renovations.

This unit is managed by TriPower Vacation Rentals, a professional vacation rental management company located on Fort Myers Beach. Guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement with TriPower to finalize booking. This unit has a keyless entry so you can head right to the unit at check-in time. A code will be emailed to you a few days before arrival.

Clean home

The house is not the newest on the block, but it is one of the cleanest. We stayed there two weeks and the location of the home is perfect. You can walk to the beach and walk to the grocery store and walk to a restaurant. If you don’t need to stay in the latest and greatest decor, the beach house is a good option. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay!

Clean Property with an old school vibe. Comfortable beds & had everything we needed. Very short walk to the beach, Having Publix Grocery store just a couple blocks away was fantastic! Loved that there were beach chairs, umbrellas water boards & even a cart available making it effortless to hit the beach with everything we needed in a single trip. Neighborhood is quiet, but plenty of friendly folks walking around. Property management was very quick to communicate with me on a small issue I had with the smart thermostat scheduling in the home. If I was being a bit of a nitpick, I would say that the living room furniture was not very comfortable, but considering it was setup with futon couches to accommodate extra sleeping space this may not be a negative for everyone. A couple comfortable chairs & ottomans would go a long way! We would & probably will stay at this "Ian Survivor" again!
