The room was spotless and modern. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even called me to inform me that the room was ready for check-in early, which I found very considerate, especially in today’s hotels. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean but it smelled faintly musty the whole time. It also was extremely too bright at night as the blinds did little to block the light that was right outside the door and could not be turned off. I also saw and killed the largest roach I’ve ever seen in the bathroom. But all in all it wasn’t horrible. And the bracelet that you use to unlock the room door is very modern. The pool and hot tub looked great but the weather was not cooperative so we didn’t use either.

Great Weekend

We had an enjoyable weekend. Thanks to the Matanza Inn completing renovations after Hurricane Ian caused devastation to the island. We have spent many long weekends here and continue. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The property is well maintained. Penny is very personable and was very accommodating.

Very nice hotel on the bay. This was our 3rd stay. Convenient to great restaurants. They have a beautiful pool that we used each day. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Would stay here again
