DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Destin beach vacationers will find everything they desire at the Gulf Dunes resort on Okaloosa Island. The miles of white sandy beaches and Emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer the perfect beaches for any beach lover. Gulf Dunes condominiums are centrally located on Okaloosa Island, just west of the Destin Pass.

Gulf Dunes resort offers two pools, onsite tennis, and direct beach frontage with private breach front balconies in each unit. And there's plenty of parking here, so families with multiple vehicles are welcome. There is 426 feet of Gulf Front Privacy, two private Dune walkovers with showers, and Relaxing lush tropical landscaping. Gulf Dunes is just minutes away from all of Destin's many family attractions.

Unit 114 of the Gulf Dunes resort is conveniently located on the second floor of the West Building overlooking the ocean. Convenient to the stairs and the elevator, this unit has easy access to the swimming pools and beach access. Tastefully decorated, this beach rental offers comfort and style and is sure to please. Granite countertops, stainless Steel Appliances, and tile floors are just some of the upgrades that makes this unit special.

The king size master bedroom offers a pillow top Serta mattress for the most comfortable sleeping. Flat screen Smart TVs are standard in all rooms. The master bed bedroom has private access to the adjoining bathroom area. The private washer and dryer is also located in the bathroom area for your convenience. Just outside the master bedroom, are twin bunk beds with extra storage underneath for your luggage.

The living room which connects to the beachfront balcony, features with an upscale pullout Palliser Cloud Z sofa bed which is the finest sleeper sofa on the market. The sofa bed sleeps as comfortable as most regular beds by design, a unique feature of this particular condominium. Step out to your private balcony adorned with comfortable upscale bar-height polywood chairs and a relaxing double polywood glider, both with side tables perfect for sipping and sunning, reading, or taking in the sunset.

A family of 4 to 6 will surely be comfortable for a week or longer in this beautiful, upscale beachfront vacation rental.

Very clean and comfortable

The unit was very clean, updated, with an adequate amount of towels and linens. You have a beautiful view of the water but you can’t see people on the beach. This wasn’t a concern for us. Very close to elevator and stairway.

A little disappointed

It was a beautiful and well kept condo...very clean, but we were disappointed with the view looking into a palm tree and pergola. The pics were deceiving although we could see water, we had no view of beach at all. The bedroom had shutters...bright light in hall outside shone directly into the room and we had to rig the ironing board to pile every spare pillow we could find to block incoming light. They really need block out shade behind shutters. It was very bright when trying to sleep. We could not achieve a dark room, which was hard for 6 days. Those were our only complaints which is why I only gave 4 stars. Thank you

Gotta love Okaloosa Island!

Great, clean condo in the heart of Okaloosa Island. We were able to.walk across the street to Stewby's for lunch and a few steps further to A.J.'s for dinner. My only.complaint is that the bedroom didn't cool off much during the evenings. Overall, though, my wife and I had a great time!

Wonderful Condo At Okaloosa Island

My wife and I spent a week in this condo. All the transactions were smooth and quick responses when I had a simple question. Everything was as described on the VRBO ad. The location is great. It is not far from Destin but it is much quieter. When we did our daily time on the beach in the awesome provided beach service chairs and umbrellas we were one of maybe 40 or so people on the beach not hundreds. The pool was small but clean and nice. One of the two pools was closed for the week for maintenance. The condo itself had everything we needed except our food and Fort Walton and Publix Market is only a couple miles away. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only negative could also be a positive for some, is condo is on the "first floor". It's actually a floor up from the street level parking and the pool. This made it very convenient to get to the pool and beach but made the view limited. You can see the dunes and the ocean but not the beach. Also the access to the beach and pool is directly below the condo which makes the lanai a little less private but not a big deal. We would definitely stay at Okaloosa Island and this condo again.

Very nice, cozy and clean property. Just the right size for a couple and two young children.

We were satisfied with our initial impression of the property. We did the walk-through and reported two items to the property manager and someone was there within 90 minutes to provide remedies. Access was very easy from Santa Rosa Blvd, and the Publix grocery store and the Gulf Coast Fish Shop is just across the bride into Ft. Walton Beach. Our beach setups were ready every day, and we met so many terrific people. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, but then, we love the Emerald Coast. We will definitely stay at this property again.
