The manager and staff were excellent. Caring and kind.
The Chef made very good soups and entrees.
The cleanliness needs some TLC. Attention to detail
The view from our room overlooking the Loch was amazing!
The condition of this property was so dated, the room we booked did not represent the photos. The bathroom was so dated, only a hand held shower.
Decor was very poor and im sure we heard a mouse scurrying around in the night.
Definitely not luxury rooms sadly

The view was nice. There is some mold on the stone in the bathroom wall that needs cleaned up. The people were great. The food was fair compared to the other places we’re staying.
why is this place even open, driving up to it it looks terrible, old run down food truck serving food in the driveway, inside no staff, floors ceiling and walls shabby and dirty, the room was a cubby hole missmatch and the stink of damp and mould was overwhelming, it was late so slept on top of the bed, i didnt dare use the shower or taps, i told the owner in the morning i would not stay the next night and wanted a refund for the 2nd night, he said ok but of course now he says no and expedia is no help
the kitchen appliances and rubbish were dumped in the parking spots, dont have the words to convey haw bad it is DONT STAY HERE WHATEVER YOU DO
Possibly the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in. Broken window with rain coming in. The noise from the rain was so loud that I had to have the radio on all night. The wall paper is peeling off the walls and the room smells damp. There was no plug for the sink and the cold water tap was not fixed to the basin. Just horrible and depressing. The pictures used on Hotels.com are misleading. Do not stay at this hotel.
The view of the loch is lovely but the room was terrible. I booked this place based on a few reviews and wish I hadn’t. It was not worth the money at all. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way, we couldn’t drain the bathtub, the mattresses are OLD, you could feel springs in them and everything was dingy. Would not recommend this place at all. We did not eat there so can’t rate the quality of that.
This property was not as described. Far from luxury rooms. Carpets were dirty, holes in bathroom walls, sink tap broken, not all lights were working in the bathroom, tv didn’t work, walls and baseboards weren’t very clean. When I asked for 2 extra pillows the manager rolled his eyes. The dinner left a lot to be desired. Could hear pipes and noises from room above. After complaining about the conditions we were moved to another room that was not much better, the chairs in the sitting area both had tattered arms. No light above sink. I wouldn’t recommend this Lodge to anyone. New owners since March so I’m not sure where the rave reviews came from. The sitting rooms downstairs off the lobby were the only parts of the lodge that looked proper.
No stars should be the rating. Terrible hygiene. Filthy brown water coming out of taps. Food was bad. Unsafe uncooked seafood. Stinking rotten fish. Electric sockets unsafe. TVs not working in most rooms. No action taken to rectify by staff.

It is in dire need of refurbishment. TV did not work, no towel rail, cold water basin tap did not work, shower very poor. Bedroom doors on strong springs, difficult to open and bang shut on closing.
Disappointing as lovely location and great views.
Upon arrival, several issues were immediately apparent:
• The room and common areas were unclean, poorly maintained, and had a strong unpleasant smell.
• Furniture and carpets were badly stained, and overall hygiene appeared neglected.
• Electrical appliances in the room appeared either unchecked or last tested over five years ago, according to the tags.
• The water from the taps was brown and discoloured, which raised serious hygiene concerns. The manager said it was because the water came from the mountains!
• The taps were poorly fitted, causing leaks and poor water pressure.
• The shower was nearly unusable, with extreme temperature swings between freezing cold and dangerously hot.
• Additionally, the manager was rarely present at reception, and when available, was unable to provide any useful information about the local area, which made our stay more difficult.
These conditions made for a very poor and unsafe experience — certainly not in line with the price paid or the hotel’s advertised standards. Had these issues been disclosed in advance, I would not have booked this property.
Attractive property, especially the dining and lounge areas.
Recently acquired and will be better as renovations take place. Wi Fi could be better although strong signal can be expected in common and dining area.
