Parking was easy, however, the room didn’t have a closet or iron if that’s something important to you. We did receive an iron from the front desk. There wasn’t much lighting in the room, so I’m happy I brought my light or we wouldn’t have been able to get ready at night without being in the bathroom to get ready. There weren’t any vending machines on site, so bring drinks and snacks if needed.

Positives: Parking was fine. The room was clean. Amazing shower! The staff was friendly. Close to Dickies Arena which was the main reason why we wanted to stay. Areas of opportunity: The lock didn't work on the front door so we had to rely on the door stopper at the top of the door from the inside. Two different people opened our door w/o knocking. 1. Housekeeping didn't even wait for us leave for check out before trying to come in & clean the room. 2. The front desk said they didn't have a record of anyone staying in our room and tried entering. Both instances left us feeling very uncomfortable & violated. Imagine someone coming into your room unannounced. There was a slow drain in the bathroom sink. We only had 1 light working in the bedroom. Apparently we needed a key card to operate the lights but that was never explained. It's an older hotel so some things could've been overlooked but entering a guests room without knocking is unacceptable. Still don't understand the miscommunication about the room not being occupied. Because it was only for 1 night, we made it work however we will not be staying at this hotel again.

The check in staff was super friendly. The bar tenders were very welcoming and made great recommendations and delicious drinks. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were super comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure.
