Even though I booked this hotel for the amazing views of the volcano and we had rain and clouds the entire time so we never saw the volcano, we still enjoyed our stay immensely! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast buffet had a good variety of hot foods and made-to-order eggs/omelettes, and Heliconia was quite good for dinner. The grounds were beautiful even without a view of the volcano and we really enjoyed the offsite hot springs that were included with complimentary shuttle... not as big as some of the others but beautiful and not crowded. Staff were all wonderful especially Melvin in the restaurant. Will definitely stay here if we come back to the area again!

This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours that included various hotel pick ups and no hotel compared to the beauty of this property, even other five star hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

Arenal Kioro Suites exceeded our expectations on every level. The view of the volcano and rainforest from our room was exceptional. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Fresh exotic flowers in the room. Our room attendants fashioned the pool towels into frogs and turtles to match our kids stuffed animals which was cute. The hot springs were spotless and we had them completely to ourselves unlike other crowded hot springs that we have visited. The resort also gave us access to the Titokú hotsprings a short drive away. They were also nice but we much preferred those at the resort. The food at both the main restaurant and pool restaurant was consistently excellent. All staff were very friendly. A chef from the main restaurant saw my son searching for frogs one evening on his way into the restaurant and pointed out a red-eyed tree frog for him! The grounds are beautifully landscaped with some short forested trails that were great for birding. Lots of toucans and other exotic birds all over the place. It was an incredible stay.

This is officially my go-to location when i visit La Fortuna. As a first timer to Costa Rica, I had high hopes but wasnt quite sure what to expect. Arenal Kioro managed to exceed my expectations tenfold in every way possible. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and offered a beverage of our choice and thoroughly explained the facilities and amenities the resort had to offer. We were taken to our suite and the experience only got better. The view of the Arenal volcano was breathtaking and is something that amazed us every time we saw it. Everything was perfect from check in to check out - the room service, housekeeping, food and hospitality were all 10 stars. The staff made us feel like family and will forever have a place in our hearts. My only issue is I didn't plan a longer vacation. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
