I'll start with the very few negatives...the property was a bit out of the way. It had multiple buildings and was a little aged (but not much). That's it...that's all I can say bad about the place, the rest is positive. It was well maintained, there was plenty of parking the night we stayed. It took 35 minutes to drive to Frankfurt Airport from the hotel. We booked a room for a family of four and received a suite (actually 2 adjoining rooms). My children LOVED the pool, which we were able to get to via indoor corridor. The staff was helpful, there was a very nice restaurant on the property which we did not eat at, but they were kind enough to sell us some milk at a very reasonable price. Overall, the staff was helpful and took care of our needs. We were very happy with the location and the facilities. Highly recommended...especially to travelers with children looking for a location near Frankfurt Airport.

Hotel staff were lovely and helpful. We had an adjoining room - ended up being in a building next to the main hotel. Felt a bit odd as you can tell this space is either closed for the off season or not used as regularly - there is a lobby but no lighting, staff etc...a bit shiningesq. The rooms were clean with nice balcony but there was an odd smell throughout. We put a mat over the bathroom drain and this seemed to help. Definetely stayed in what I’m assuming is the older part? Great breakfast (not included and I believe $25 a person?) but had everything you could possibly want. Overall was ok for the price and cannot beat proximity to the airport (25 min or so in good traffic). Also note this is a wedding venue so be prepared for drunken loudness if staying on a weekend.

Lovely setting

We were there just over night prior to flying out and chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the airport. It's not as close as listed and even though it shows breakfast is included if you have to leave before the 6 am, they want an additional 15 euro pp to make a take away breakfast. We felt that a bit excessive. We did enjoy a very good dinner but the waiter seemed a little put out that we chose to order off the menu rather than the buffet. While the buffet looked excellent, I prefer not to eat so heavy so late into the evening.

Not worth the money!

Our room was dirty. There was hair and dead bugs on the floor. The food in the restaurant was bland and overpriced! Okay for one night but the hotel has seen better days.

Comfortable stop on way to airport

Our last night of a 10 day driving trip through southern Germany. I wanted a place close to Frankfurt Airport. We were tired, and this was perfect. Big place, beautiful grounds, plenty of free parking, had a great restaurant on site, and only 25 minutes the next morning to the airport for rental car return.. Only negative, no air conditioning, and it was hot.

Fantastic Winter experience

We landed on Frankfurt from a long haul fligh from Australia We had a hire car and wanted to somewhere quiet to adjust to the Europe Winter and recover from jet lag. Parkhotel Rödermark was the perfect place. Loved the meals and service in the restaurant, loved the location a 20 min drive to the city. Loved watching the squirrels play while we ate breakfast. The hotel was a little retro which we loved, the food wa amazing as we were looking for a traditional German experience, we felt hotel Rödermark achieved this. We will return.

Overnight Rödermark stay

We stayed at the Parkhotel for one night as we had some personal business to conduct in the Frankfurt area. The 24 hour front desk was a major benefit, as we arrived late on a Sunday night which can be problematic for German businesses - but in our case, we had an English-fluent receptionist to get us checked in quickly after our long drive. The room furnishings and decor were a little old, but no issues in terms of cleanliness or presentation - for the very low price we paid, the total hotel quality was beyond our expectations. We did not purchase the breakfast buffet with our package, but chose to add it on the following morning. The breakfast is a bit pricey (I think it was 15 Euro/person), but there was a lot of variety of breakfast foods and I don't think there were many alternatives in the immediate area. The neighborhood itself is very quiet - this hotel is outside of the main town of Rödermark and is in a beautiful natural setting. We didn't get a chance to explore the surroundings in detail, but from what we saw the setting was very peaceful.
