For the past 3 years I have stayed at this hotel back to back minimal issues, this will be my last at the Fred’s the experiences was terrible, no breakfast, restaurant closed, no bar tender for your order although I sat at the table for 25 minutes, left and went somewhere else for service, on day seven of check out, to get to the airport, the door of my room was locked and I was unable to get my luggage, the receptionist had no idea how to get the door unlocked it took an hour to get it finally open, and I was in panic mood to catch my flight, made it to the airport just in time. No longer have an interest to stay at The Fred’s.

This is a great place with high speed internet, which I needed for my work. My only two complaints, which they can easily address are a) they should heat the hot tub, and b) they should have some sort of shower curtain available. The open concept/rainfall shower head concept is super cool and cool looking, but I like to have a bit of privacy just in case. Overall amazing service, good (at the bar), and facilities—it’s a gorgeous place. The prices are definitely fair compared to other places on the island.I absolutely love the comfortable bed and pillows! The mini bar was a nice option, as well. I will definitely return to The Fred for my monthly work trips!!

A hard review to write. We had a great week. Granted it was off season. 12 - 4 dining only. Surprise. Very sketchy television in room. Sunday night private event with 300 people and music so loud in the room it was unbearable. Nice pool area. Very quiet most of the time. Staff recommendations ended up as wild goose chases three times only to find the staff was simply wrong. Would I go back? Probably if there was no private event scheduled. As I said, tough to review, but now my expectations are realistic. All said, St Croix was wonderful.

The location was great. While the swimming wasn’t sandy it was possible. The sunsets were amazing. The staff were all really friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
