Great family friendly stay

Overall great stay! Pool area seemed to need some work. Breakfast was pretty good. Easy access to downtown Freeport area. Room was perfect for my sister and I plus 3 kids.

Room had a stench as soon as i opened the door, The toilet wasnt cleaned from prior occupents and was very dirty. I checked out immediately. Expedia and Hotel will not reimburse my money. Do not use Expedia they are no help and Hotel wont give back the money if you use it.

The pool was closed when we arrived due to it being sanitized. This was one of the main reasons for us staying there and wish I had been notified prior to checking it. Rooms were very dark. Could definitely use more lighting.

We really like the Thai restaurant across the street and the hotel had greatly improved under Marriot. Only real problem is the Highway noise from I 295 Next time I would ask for a room at the front.

My family enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a convenient location to get to different areas. The hotel itself was nice, but when people walked around on the floors above it was very loud and the doors were very loud when they closed. The breakfast was pretty good. Overall, our stay was nice.

Noises

All night door slamming . Our door did not seal well so a lot of light from the hallway coming into the room. The mattress was not comfortable at all. This place does not have a Marriott feel or quality .. I have not stayed a this brand of Marriott before will not be coming back
