The hotel room was clean and well maintained. All the amenities in the room were up to date. My one complaint was the pool was closed for repairs. After a long, hot day of riding a motorcycle, it would have been nice to jump in a pool of cool water.

A little disappointed

We have always enjoyed our stays at La Quinta, this one was a bit smaller than we have stayed at before. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for an early check in (2:00) via text but when we got to the hotel it hadn't been approved, we were told there weren't any clean rooms available yet. We had to wait, but only for about 15 minutes before we were given a room. We left to visit Sequoia on our second day early in the morning and when we returned to our room about 3:30 they had not cleaned it or made our bed. I told the front desk when we were leaving for dinner and she gave us fresh towels. A bit disappointed after a long day at Sequoia it would've been nice to have our bed made and the room freshened up.

Our first room abutted a nearby amusement park. The noise was too loud to sleep; staff were responsive and put us in another room. This is a no frills place. There was some damage on our walls, and the complimentary breakfast was minimal, especially for vegans/vegetarians. The location provided good access.

The room is clean but a little run down. The front desk staff when we checked in was a little uninterested, kind of like just going through their daily routine. Also, when we first got into the room, there was loud music being played either downstairs or right outside our window.
