If you are.looking for a place.to get away this is it. It is very quite and peaseful.The view of the inlet is amazing. You can enjoy it from in the house or better yet the back yard. You are right on the water. If you like seafood esp lobster some excellent restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Wedding weekend

We booked this way ahead of our nephew’s wedding in July rather than stay in a hotel. It was even better than the pictures! It is a beautiful property and the owners have thought of everything you could need to enhance your stay. It is super clean and the owners promptly responded to our questions. First time in beautiful Maine was awesome!

The beautiful weather accompanied our stay which helped create the perfect setting. The Friendship house is nestled on the banks of the harbor, creating a picture perfect vacation spot. Went whale watching in Boothbay, visited Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park . Not to mention the Lobster House close by and many, many other locations. We had a great week! Thank you, Steve from Pennsylvania.

4 Night Stay in October 2023

The property is a beautiful cottage set at the end of a peninsula in Friendship ME. Views of the water from the kitchen, spare bedroom, living room and dining room. Outdoor fireplace on the water was great for a crisp fall evening. Walking distance to a lobster co-op, local seafood restaurant and general store. Very clean and welcoming. Parking right outside front door. Host Jeremy answered all questions in a timely manner and was very helpful. 5-Star stay! Book for a couples stay and you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful Cottage Great Spot

Perfect for even a long stay (washer/dryer). The local townsfolk are very nice and accommodating. perfectly located for day trips i.e. Rockland, Augusta. Had a great time.

We stayed here in 2022 and 2023. The second time did not disappoint. It's a wonderful location and the price represents terrific value for the money. Change your plans, if you must, but this is the place to stay.

Beautiful property

This is a spectacular property on Hatchet cove with great views and sunsets, right on the water. The house is clean and fresh, attractively furnished. It is on a non-touristy peninsula in a working lobster fishing community. The only negatives were there was no room made for clothing in the master bedroom (so we had to live out of our suitcases), and while the property is very private, there are security system cameras in the front and back of the property -- for us it took a little time for them to fade out of mind. Overall it is a great place and we would return.

Beautiful setting

The house is quaint, sits an the lake and you can take in the sunset which is wonderful. There is a great lobster co. about a mile away which has wonderful lobsters, ice cream etc. Our only issue was not enough space to unpack our clothes. Hopefully, this can be corrected in the future.....
