Nick and Manou are the most amazing hosts, they are so warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. From our initial communication from booking their lovely apartment to the whole of our stay, they were fantastic. The apartment is very comfortable, with everything you need, home from home. We absolutely loved our stay at Frigiliana. We received a lovely welcome. The house is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Frigiliana itself is a lovely little town, with plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. The house is only 20 minutes from some lovely beaches and the view from the house a 2nd to none. Highly recommended!

We have just returned from the most wonderful two weeks at La Quinta, Frigiliana, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The villa is in a peaceful spot just five minutes from the town, the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. From the very first message, Nick and Manou were exceptional hosts — welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond if we needed anything. Their kindness and thoughtfulness shone through, yet they were never intrusive. Although their home is connected, the villa is completely private and self-contained, with its own entrance, every modern comfort, and a stunning pool, so your holiday really does feel entirely your own.La Quinta itself is everything you could wish for. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, it combines rustic Andalusian charm with modern comforts. The kitchen is so well equipped that cooking felt easy and enjoyable, and evenings spent dining outside with the gas BBQ were a highlight. The bedrooms are cool and restful, and the whole villa feels like a true home from home.The views are breathtaking — across the valley and, on clear days, all the way to the sea. The pool was a joy: sparkling clean, sunlit throughout the day, with shade when needed. Surrounding it all are gardens designed and created by Nick and Manou, with mature olive trees, bonsai, and flowering plants adding to the beauty.La Quinta is more than just a villa — it’s a labour of love, cared for by two wonderful hosts. Fabulous accommodation equipped with everything needed for a relaxed stay. Hosts Nick and Manu were very welcoming and available throughout the stay for tips and advice on the local area. The apartment had fabulous views of the sea and countryside, great outdoor seating areas, and a well maintained pool. Taxi’s readily available for trips to Frigiliana and Nerja but would recommend a hire car to collect shopping and explore the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend the Alhambra which is just over an hours drive away in Granada. We’d highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Absolute perfection! We stayed at La Quinta for 6 wonderful days during our half-term holiday at the end of May - myself and my two sons aged 14 and 11. We had a fantastic time. La Quinta really is a lovely place - instantly relaxing and the perfect place to potter about and recharge the batteries. The view from the terrace is stunning - looking out over the mountains and out to sea. The outdoor space is superb with a lovely shady outside dining area, beautiful gardens and a wonderful private pool. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. There is a lot to do in the area - if you can tear yourself away from the delightful environs of La Quinta! We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and my sons have said many times what a great holiday it was. Thank you, Nick and Manou, for your very warm welcome and hospitality, and for creating this magical place. We hope to return!

PERFECT!!!

La Quinta is a lovely place to unwind and relax! Everything you need away from home is at your disposal. Thoughtful details such as ironed sheets make this a grand stay. Thr home is situated with a wonderful view of the Mediterranean and is located minutes away from the lovely village of Frigiliana. Checkin is a breeze - a plus after a long journey. Your hosts even provide a few lovely snacks and provisions to get you settled on Day 1. Emmanuelle and Nick are warm and gracious hosts and extremely accommodating. I highly encourage a stay in their beautiful home.

Exceptional property

We could not have asked for a single thing to have been better. If you stay at this property, you will have the best time. We have stayed at VRBO's in Europe and North America, and this was the best experience we've had. The accommodation and hillside location with spectacular mediterranean views make it hard to beat. They have put a lot of thought into the details to ensure it feels like home. The hosts greeted us on arrival and made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. They answered all our questions and provided great recommendations for sites to see, restaurants, parking etc. They hosted us for dinner one evening and that was one of the most memorable experiences on our trip. We cannot recommend this property and these warm exceptional hosts enough.

Stunning villa in a beautiful setting

We enjoyed a fantastic week here - Nick and Manou have carefully thought through every detail of the property, with each room well equipped and finished to a high standard, and were wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The pool and other outdoor areas were real highlights for our family, with stunning views of the coast and the mountains. We massively appreciated the air con too! It was lovely to find some essentials in the fridge when we arrived, and we loved exploring nearby Frigliana and Nerja too. We couldn't recommend this highly enough!

Dream holiday

If you've got this far - book La Quinta for a relaxed, comfortable and memorable stay. We could not fault anything and this was by far the best appointed villa we have stayed in. Everything Nick and Manou have prepared was beyond expectations and provided us with the best service as hosts. The pool is exceptional, bedrooms were spotless and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and more and the view is to be seen to be believed. Frigiliana is a stunning town with plenty to see and do and lots of lovely places to eat and drink. There are lots of activities and locations to visit to suit all ages and interests. Our first visit to Spain and we will be back!

Perfect relaxing stay with stunning views

We have just spent the most idyllic week at La Quinta. From booking to throughout our stay the communication from Nick and Manou was fantastic, they gave us really clear directions to the property, met us on arrival for a tour and were available throughout on whatsapp for lots of helpful recommendations and information. They could not have been more welcoming. The property was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed or wanted. The wine in the fridge on arrival and the cool box for the beach were particularly appreciated! The property was cool, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had complete privacy and so much outside space with beautiful views from the terrace and the pool. The journey from Malaga airport was very straightforward and the property was easy to find despite being away from the town. It was so peaceful and idyllic with Frigiliana being a 10 minute drive and the beaches/town of Nerja 20 minutes away. Frigiliana itself is so beautiful with so many excellent restaurants. We would absolutely love to return and would recommend La Quinta highly to other couples/friends wishing for a relaxing and peaceful holiday spot.

Idyllic, perfect, serene.

Let’s start with the negatives - there are none. This property comes with literally everything you need. From seasoning to straw hats, from pasta to privacy. It is a stunning home from home with the most breathtaking of views. Nestled in the hills above Frigiliana, La Quinta is pure sanctuary, hosted by the most wonderful couple who are incredibly generous with their time and attentiveness. From the booking process to ongoing communication and directions to La Quinta, our journey went as smoothly as could be, even with our late inbound flight, both Nick and Mannou were there to meet and greet us in the early hours. They even did some shopping for us so that we didn’t have to run to the shops, not that we’d have needed to; all the essentials were already there. La Quinta is a stunning Spanish Villa, almost Finca like, in a gated and quiet area. Parking is easy and safe as is getting unloaded and settled in. The swimming pool is fantastic, there is a BBQ, air conditioning, laundry facilities and a kitchen laden with every utensil possible. Both bedrooms are next to a bathroom/shower room each, one of which also has a bath tub. The lounge area is so comfortable with TV and all the channels you need in every language. We fell in love with La Quinta, and with its perfect hosts and we will be returning regularly, even out of season.

Best Hosts and views in Andalusia

We spent the last 12 nights of our month long trip of Andalusia. Our hosts Nick and Manou were extremely friendly, accommodating and shared their wealth of knowledge to assist us in navigating this stunning area of Spain. Stunning Private Apartment with pool

Beautiful accommodations in the mountains of Frigilano. The view was amazing. The apartment was roomy, well stocked and very comfortable. Sneaky week away

The hosts made you feel comfortable from the first communication and when we arrived they did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and excellently maintained, with essentials in the fridge so we did not need to go to the supermarket as we arrived. Nick and Manou were there to welcome us and show us around the property which they are clearly passionate about ensuring your stay is perfect. Whilst they live on sight we never saw or heard them as they are very mindful of your privacy. They provided lots of useful information before we arrived and there was a great manual in the property which covered everything you could think of. Whilst the accommodation is excellent and extremely comfortable, it was our hosts that made our holiday. Thank you Nick and Manou for a couple of great evenings and we look forward to seeing you both again.

Wonderful stay - highly recommended

We have stayed at some great rentals over the years and this was one of the best. Nick and Emmanuelle have thought of everything you could possibly need and provided it. Their communication from the start was great and we were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation is very comfortable and everything is of top quality. We would wake up to the stunning view everyday and think of how fortunate we are to enjoy such lovely surroundings and weather. (Yes even the weather in February and early March was great) The area has wonderful beaches, restaurants, hilltop towns, and Spanish cultural sites to explore. We had a great three weeks vacation, due in no small part to the lovely accommodation.

Fantastic experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Frigiliana. The apartment was wonderful, and the small town exceeded our expectations. We were two couples who stayed for three nights in the middle of a three-week vacation in Spain. We intended to have a low-key period in between intensive sight-seeing, and this was perfect. We loved the pool, the outdoor living area, and the charming town, but mostly we loved the hosts, a delightful, engaging and helpful couple who were readily accessible if we had questions (for restaurant or hike recommendations), but were scarce if not. We spent an afternoon in nearby Nerja, and we were so thankful of our decision to stay instead in the hill town.

Perfect in every way

La Quinta is the perfect villa to explore Frigiliana and the surrounding area. Communication with Nick and Manou was very smooth and efficient and they ensured we had all the information we needed in the weeks/days leading up to our holiday. Upon arrival we were greeted and given a tour of the property and then left to unpack. The villa is spotlessly clean and a lot of thought and attention has been put in to ensure guests have everything they need. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, and kitchen essentials (such as garlic press, lemon juicer, Tupperware, stick blender etc), a cool box, beach parasol, pool towels, spare sun hats etc. The kitchen was stocked with olive oil, salt, pepper, tea bags, and plenty of cleaning supplies including dishwasher and washing tablets. Nick and Manou also left us some food and drinks for our first night. The villa is extremely comfortable and we spent almost all of our time outside relaxing on the patio or by the pool - the views are just stunning. We cannot recommend La Quinta enough and Nick and Manou are just the most perfect hosts who really care about providing their guests with a fabulous holiday experience. Where to start?! We had such a lovely holiday at this very special place - it was everything we needed it to be after the stresses of the last 18 months. You need to be prepared for some steep roads, but the views are worth it and you are only a few minutes drive (downhill) to Frigiliana which is a beautiful little village. Manu and Nick are amazing hosts and put so much effort into making our stay effortless - thank you, both. We can’t recommend La Quinta highly enough and we’d love to visit again as soon as we can!

A piece of heaven in Frigiliana

This property is beautifully presented, well situated with lovely views. The owners live directly above, they are warm, generous & helpful but discrete, ensuring visitors privacy. ( we didn’t hear a thing!) Lovely exclusive pool & a bonus to have pool towels provided, indeed here was nothing we could have needed which was not provided, including such items as cool box, shopping bags & kitchen products e.g. dish washer/ washing tablets. Having travelled widely, I was impressed by the set up & attention to detail. I would book again- thank you Nick & Manou for a lovely holiday. Gill & Keith

Home from home (and better!). Absolutely faultless

We fell in love with La Quinta from the moment we arrived. The property is set amongst olive and avocado groves with amazing views out to sea that a photograph simply can't do justice to. The pool is great, nice and deep and the outdoor dining terrace with BBQ is well shaded with stunning views down the valley to the Med. The interior is simple, stylish and immaculately clean. The owners have thought of everything - need a beach umbrella? shopping bags? salt and pepper? washing tabs? it's all there. The kitchen has clearly been put together by someone who loves cooking as there are all the utensils, pots and pans and storage that you could possible need. Aircon is new and efficient (on a timer) and bathrooms spacious, clean and with powerful, large showers. The lounge area is relaxed and cool and even the book collection was surprisingly good! What really makes this property stand out are the wonderful hosts Nick and Manou. From the point of booking they were in touch (just the right amount) and responded really quickly with great advice and tips on what to book before we arrived. They are very warm and friendly in person and once at La Quinta recommended great beaches, restaurants and trips. They clearly love the house and the area, and it is infectious. We would all love to return and thank you Nick and Manou for your exceptional hospitality!
