Way above expectations!

Great stay. Staff super friendly and courteous. Rooms was in perfect condition and bigger than expected. ESPA products are very high end and the extra perks of Chocolates, Tattoo and free of charge water was a really nice touch. Breakfast was again above expectations and the staff were excellent.

Has potential but needs some TLC.

The bed was really hard and the hotel is in need of some maintenance. I asked for a mattress topper but never received one. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very good. The massage therapists were both very good but the spa itself needs some work. Not everything worked. Also way too dark in the spa and the hotel hallways. No mirror to blow dry your hair and no plug in the bathroom??

It is a very nice hotel. It’s a bit of a confusing maze to find your room but that’s a minor consideration. I would stay here again. Well done.

I was not impressed for a five star hotel. Found prescription drugs in my bathroom upon arrival that the team had to remove. I had a long walk to my room that had a huge neon sign in the window. The beds were uncomfortable, the hotel is in front of a major intersection with constant traffic worse than an airport hotel and impossible to cross the street. The restaurant was not open when I arrived and when they were open they have limited hours. The room service was limited pizza and sandwiches. The hotel is not close to bars and city centre. They should have a shuttle if they are this far away from any restaurants or local attractions. The front lobby was nice looking however that is where it ends. Everything was booked so I couldn’t relocated. The one positive was the very nice massage I received at the spa before heading out.

Great stay! Very relaxing.

The second closet light didn’t work, sinks could have used a good scrub around the drains and the gym was out of commission but overall our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the spa , the size of the room and the view of the bay were phenomenal. Staff were friendly. We didn’t try the restaurant but it seemed lively. The hotel was only a 20 min walk from the city centre with lots to offer. Would stay again!

If you're staying in Galway and you don't need to be right in Eyer Square, the g Hotel is an excellent choice. It is quiet, well-appointed, with a super helpful staff. The breakfasts are wonderful and the bar(s) and sitting rooms are comfortable and inviting. Getting to Eyer Square isn't a problem as there's a bus stop just opposite the hotel.

We were happy that 1 of our 2 rooms was upgraded. The 2nd room was not ready for an hour after check in so they bought us a drink. There was ongoing construction on our floor that was noisy. The halls were very dark. Parking is in an underground garage shared with retail strip mall. Wellpak area where hotel is located is a good 20-25 min walk to the center of Galway tourist area & restaurants. Otherwise, the room was clean, beds were comfortable and service was good.
