This property and island was absolutely incredible!!! Lots of restaurant and pool options. Perfect for relaxing or having many things to do. Our stay was perfect and the resort is so beautiful! Highly recommend!!!!

We just returned from the most AMAZING honeymoon at Emerald Faarufushi! I researched resorts for months and I am so glad I chose Emerald. Service: The service at this resort is truly 5-star! From the moment we left baggage claim at the Male airport, we were greeted and catered to every moment of our trip. I can honestly say, every single employee we interacted with provided the best service I’ve experienced in my life. When we arrived at the resort, we were introduced to our villa host, Nabeel, who graciously catered to our every need and desire throughout the trip. He set us up with WhatsApp messaging so we could contact him night or day for anything we needed. He had our dining reservations planned out before we even arrived and each one worked out perfectly for our stay. On our last day, we requested a late check-out and Nabeel coordinated getting us a beach villa to use for the day since our room needed to be vacated for the next guests. Nabeel was so amazing we felt like he would do anything within his power to ensure we had the best vacation/honeymoon ever. The food and drink were also top-notch and all included in the price. The quality was incredible and there aren’t up charges everywhere like I saw at other resorts. They really take pride in the quality of their food and beverages and the head chef was always making his rounds to interact with the guests. Finally, the rooms are amazing. Modern, clean, and luxurious. I would definitely return in the future!

This was the most pleasant resort either of us have ever been to. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay an absolute pleasure. My wife is vegan and has food allergies. Chef Serini greeted us at every meal and he cooked separate dishes for her at every meal. The food at the restaurants was all delicious and there was plenty of it. But for Sirini to go out of his way and cook something special for my wife at every meal was an incredibly special thing and he was so unbelievably nice and also excited that he could try new stuff for her. Our plane was met at the arrival area and we were greeted by staff with music and a drink. Our host then brought us to our villa which was air conditioned, over the water and had a plunge pool with amazing views of the ocean. The resort itself is smaller but big enough to make you feel like you have a lot of privacy and space to be on your own. The staff at all the restaurants, the cleaning crew, and all the rest of the staff were super nice and treated us like royalty. I can’t complement the resort enough. If you go to the Maldives, give yourself the best gift you can and stay at Movenpick

A tropical island paradise. The weather was perfect, the food, including springbok and ostrich, delicious and the service and staff outstanding. Always with a smile and a friendly hello they made our island escape even more perfect. We will be back one day. Who would not want to return to paradise?

Our Butler Terry was AMAZING! Same with all of the wait staff and everything about this resort. Deserves more than 5 stars.
