Great location for our journey from Santander to Costa Del Sol. Rooms are good. Staff service excellent. Breakfast was just what was wanted. My only gripe was getting caught out by booking the wrong date in a couple of weeks time, which I tried to rectify within an hour but Expedia telling me no exchange or refund is possible. So I’ve booked a different hotel for then.

Location was great, right by the side of the main road and next to a petrol station with a shop we could walk to. Great for re-fueling before continuing our journey and buying some treats. Nice hotel room, clean and a comfortable bed. Man on reception was very pleasant and spoke perfect English which was helpful. Used the Swimming pool which would have been nice except one of the ladders was half hanging off and very dangerous, should have been removed or fixed. Pool and pool area generally very tatty which was a shame as it is nice to have it available. Nice bar and restaurant on site which was great for a reasonable breakfast and a couple of drinks in the evening. The main thing that let the stay down was the cleaner barging into the room at 10am after knocking and waiting less than a second before just letting herself in. Bearing in mind checkout was 12pm this was completely unacceptable, I dread to think what she could have seen/disturbed in other circumstances! Please give the staff more training. What should have been a relaxing lie in before a long journey was nothing of the sort. Would I stay again? Yes I would but I wouldn't bother with the pool and would advise I don't want people letting them into my room before checkout!

Nice stop right off the motorway. Good room. Nice restaurant and breakfast. Just don’t jump into the swimming pool, as it is only about 1m deep !!

This is a great Roadside hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, good local bar and restaurant serving great food. Dogs are welcome and a good outside area to exercise them. Have stayed many times and will stay again.

Charming hotel

Use this hotel to and from UK and Spain, so convenient just off the motorway. This is a lovely gem of a hotel, it has character and is charming. The restaurant menu is superb and the staff are so polite and friendly.
