Surprisingly nice hotel with inclusive gym and suana. Nice comfortable clean rooms and surroundings. Limited transport to and from the hotel. Had to walk to and from the Hotel in the snow with luggage because of a limited taxis and buses.

KIRUNA

Great location of the hotel. In 2022 the hotel will be at a new loacation, due to the relocation of the city center . Freindly and helpful staff. Incredible breakfast buffé with many good choices. Rooms ok, missed AC, microwave and fridge. Would go back again.

Gammalt hotell i ganska dåligt skick. Det här med Covid-19 verkar inte vara nått som hotellet tar särskillt seriöst. Covid-19 skyltarna känns som mycket snack men lite verkstad - 2 av 3 hissar ut drift och man väntar upp till 3-5 minuter på den enda hissen för att upptäcka att den är full med 10-12 personer. Personal och gäster hostar och nyser här och där. Ingen ventilation på rummen gör att det blir svårt att sova med dålig luft. Ett litet plus i kanten för elbilsladdarna som erbjuds men tyvärr är dessa felskyltade och ofta blockerade av fossilbilar.

good 3.5 star hotel in good location

Overall as a 3.5 star property it was OK. The location is superb. They thought to provide a dining option for guests on New Year’s Day , when the town was closed, well done. The only problem was we paid at least 30% more for this hotel when compared with all other 4-5 star hotels we stayed at in Scandanavia.

Expensive for low season period (summer)

Breakfast was ok Lunch, never think about it! It was horrible. It was cheap though but in quality as well as the price. We had to eat there because most of neighboring restaurants were close or not in good condition. Strangely the temperature in Kiruna was 24C on one day and 28C on the other day. Our hotel room didn’t have any air conditioner system.

Quite a nice hotel, with a good modern and fresh feel. The rooms were nice and spacious, clean and facilities were fine. Breakfast was good too, and the location is perfect, right in the heart of Kiruna with walking distance to the centre of town. The biggest issues for me were there was no air-conditioning in the room, with the only option for air flow being to have the window open continuously. Also, there were no tea and coffee making facilities, but at least there was a coffee machine downstairs. Thankfully the curtains did a good job blocking the midnight sun, though there was still some light, it wasn't bad at all, and I slept quite well. I'd stay here again when I come back to town.

The town is literally being moved and this is the last year the hotel will be open before being knocked down .It is better than most in town but you can tell they are not giving it the attention it needs inside and outside. Some of the front desk staff were nicely dressed and professional and others especially late shift showed up in sloppy t shirts and were not very helpful

Great stay

Great breakfast, also limited breakfast available for early check-outs. Very clean room, proper bathroom. Nice view from the sauna. Central location in Kiruna.
