Family beach house in the heart of the great Sea Isle neighborhood with boat ramp access. 2 big lots fenced in with great neighbors. The house will sleep up to 10 people. Walk-in showers upstairs and downstairs with outdoor shower back of house. Marina bar and restaurant 2 blocks(no driving needed). There are queen size Crate Barrel beds in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. All 5 beds in the house are queen size(yes queen size bunk beds) and a full size futon. All mattresses and pillows have hypoallergenic covers under the sheets. Plenty of blankets and towels. The stairs are outside. There is additional $10 per person per night charge for more than 6 guests. Internet/WiFi, plenty of puzzles, board games, cards, etc. Smart TVs in living room and each bedroom. Huge deck and gas barbecue pit. Full kitchen amenities with a huge social bar and extra large dining table. Beach is 2 blocks away with a private parking lot for the Sea Isle neighborhood only. Kids park and full court basketball, tennis court, and neighborhood pool(open Memorial Day-Labor Day) are all located within 2 blocks. Yes you can hear the beach! I manage this house myself. CHECK OUR REVIEWS! Always updating little and big things because we listen to our tenants. We only accept small groups that will be staying at the house with rare exception. Absolutely no open invitation parties or more than the agreed upon paid inhabitants will be allowed without permission. A detailed description of your pet(s) may be required and could impact leasing this property. Bring your golf cart or check local golf cart rental companies. They are all pretty good and they deliver and pickup at the house. Check-in is 4:00 pm but all efforts are always made to allow earlier check-in if requested.

Loved the house. It was great and a few blocks from the water. The only issue was that there is no way to get from the downstairs to the upstairs inside the house. You have to climb the outside stairs and the kitchen was upstairs so the people sleeping downstairs had to come up and take the chance of waking up the ones upstairs when opening the front door.

Plus - lots of parking, room for a boat, lots of games and good kitchen with table to play games, really clean beach with short drive, good communication with host. Negative - Up stairs bathroom cannot be reached without going through with one of the two bedrooms. Downstairs bunk bed requires going through the other bedroom to get to the downstairs bathroom. Overall condition of house outside was not as good as we expected (pealing paint). Safety - A motion light is definitely needed to go up and down the dark stairs at night. Falling hazard.

The check-in was great, no problems. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking, but was missing a few important (in my opinion) items: like coffee cups, wine glasses. I think some plastic plates and cups would be great. We had four kids 8 and younger and they really liked to eat on the porch. Every time they went there, I was worried they were going to break something

Home away from Home - But beachier

This property has everything you need from towels to paper towels.You can’t be bored here and at tbe same time you can relax all you need. The house decor makes for a super fun game of “I spy”! Art work covers the inside walls with some classic musical anrtist and a TV in EVERY ROOM. Cleanliness gets 10 plus stars! Spacious yard and plenty of sun bathing spots or shade if you prefer. The kitchen is a chefs delight. Grocery stores close by and plenty of room in the fridge and freezer. The beach is a little walk or short drive away. The marina is .2 miles away, we walked and met the friendliest people alone the way. The entire community is welcoming and cheery. Check in and check out goes smooth because of the detailed information and instructions. House has terrific AC on top and bottom floors. And if you’re a workout / running junkie there is workout equipment and SO MANY running spaces! The host is super communicative. We will be back and hope to be able to book this place again. We loved the location, the beach house, and the community. My mom, son, and I had the best time and the most comfortable place to make memories!

My Stay at Rocking Wave

This is a house I would recommend to anyone that will be visiting Galveston. The house was clean, the yard is large and everything you need was supplied including toys!! The neighbors were friendly and started throwing footballs with my grandsons. I loved my stay !!

Peaceful weekend

The owner had the best communication I have ever experienced! The house was just as described and the neighborhood is close to beach access. The neighborhood was cute and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again
