First I went to our room and someone was already occupying it. Mix up at the front desk and attendant acted like it was my fault someone was in our room. Finally got another room and our room was filthy and we killed two big cockroaches. Floor was dirty towels were not clean. We didn’t have another option of hotel and sheets actually appeared clean so we kept our luggage in the car and stayed but never again. One outlet plug on the lamp was loose and my phone charger started to over heat, so I could only use one outlet. Breakfast was ok. Walking to the ocean was the only good part!

this is the worst hotel i ever stayed, no phone, no internet, water leaking in tub, call from my cell they would not answer my phone, they charged me 15 per night for parking and i was not told when i made the reservation. water coming from shower was brown, sync was rusted and i can go on

The building needs some TLC there's rust stains and paint is peeling on the outside of the building. The room was tidy but there was grit on the floor and you can tell there was some past water damage/flooding. Also every lamp, faucet..anything metal was rusted in the room. Theres decent water pressure, toilet, sink works. In my family's rooms the TV was not working properly and they had no soap. Don't eat the breakfast! They did offer toast, apples, muffins, juice and waffles but the waffles had an off sour taste. Also you have to pay for parking $15.

You have to pay to park at the hotel, the soap depensers were empty, the TV was very fuzzy and breakfast was a joke, the waffle makers didn't work correctly and that was basically all there was for breakfast

We ended up don't staying. We are trying to get our money back. When we checked in they charged our card right away. Then was told I had to spend an extra 15 dollars for parking. When we got to the room the door was all rusty dirty windows . Unsafe area. Do yourself a favor don't stay hear. Does not look like the pictures. Staff very rude.

Not worth the time even for just one night

Sheets were stained mirrors were dirty shower hadnt been cleaned in a while no soap in shower. Heat sid not work was 61 in the room and would not come on. When we got there we met a couple in the parking lot that had gotten a room that was allready occupied they wwre pretty clueless in the office about the fix. They also charged us 15 dollars for parking overnight in there parking lot 15 bucks for something that should have been included with the price of the room. Outside was decaying and in disrepair

Crappy Roach Motel

Didn’t like the motel. It was not clean and we worried about bed bugs. The card readers didn’t work efficiently. You had to swipe the cards 10-15 times to get them to work. We had reserved an ocean view but the clerk said that their ocean view was to walk down to the corner and you can see the ocean down the hall. Also, we was charged $15 for a parking spot for our vehicle even though we rented a room. If you like roach motels than you’ll feel right at home. The only thing that I did find comforting that the mattress was soft. There was spot of blood on the lampshade and 2 spots on the side of the bottom sheet on the bed. The check in time was extremely long because of all the different customers complaining about the Motel and service.

Location is really nice but you can tell the place has not been kept up well over the years. Checkin is chaotic with papers all over the front desk. It is cheap and okay for a quick overnight stay.

Really good restaurants in the area. Benno’s and Saltgrass have very good food. The seafood platter at Bennos is amazing. I’ve stayed here multiple times now and always get coffee but no coffee maker. The room overall was nice….top floor with an ocean view.

Here’s a concise review for your situation: “Terrible experience. We discovered bed bugs in our room and brought it to the attention of the staff, but the issue was not resolved. We had to leave the hotel close to midnight and couldn’t even stay one night. Completely unacceptable and disappointing.

This is one of the WORST hotels we have ever stayed in. Never again will we stay in a Wingate by Wyndham hotel. This was a total disaster of a hotel from the check in process to check out…they can’t understand or speak English and can’t operate their own computers. Close this place down.
