A very well maintained Victorian Home. We didn't interact with anyone but the directions and amenities were clear and easy to follow. If you like staying in vintage properties this was very nice.

The house, rooms and grounds are gorgeous, quiet and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfy. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The host was very friendly and knowledgable. We would return.

They place to rest your head...

Amazing staff, was leaving on a cruise even after we checked out they let us keep our luggage there while we walked the town then later returned for then when our boat was ready.

The 1890 Freeman House is a beautifully updated, elegant house. Our room had everything we needed and we had access to a fully stocked kitchen with coffee and tea service. Shannon was incredibly easy to work with and responded immediately to messsages. Her mom, Jan, is a treasure! We will stay with them again for sure!

We stayed at the 1890 Freeman House for one night before leaving on a cruise. The house was very nice and well maintained. It was within walking distance from several bars and restaurants in the historic area. The hospitality was amazing and made you feel like you were staying with friends. We look forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed this hotel and our room. The bed was comfortable, the house is charming and the coffee bar in the morning was delicious. Within walking distance of some great restaurants.

Beautiful Home and Attentive Service

We were in town for a wedding, and decided to book a room at the last minute. The location was fantastic and the neighborhood was very clean and quiet. Shannon was very hospitable. She was ready for us a tad bit earlier than 3 pm so we could check-in and get ready. We stayed in 'one of the smaller rooms'. The room has beautiful large windows, but those windows and the afternoon sun made for a hot box that just never cooled down enough to be comfortable. Thankfully we had a fan in the room. We did not receive the complimentary bottle of wine, but I'm sure if we had asked it would have been presented. I'm certain we would stay again if the opportunity arose.
