Loved the street the hotel sits on it’s so festive! The room was tight but I expected that, I appreciated having the space under the bed to store our luggage and a shelf for our phones. The bathroom had a good sized counter to put stuff on and a “closet” space making it easy to get our stuff up and out of the way

Check-in was quick and the beds were extremely comfortable. The best night sleep we had in a week of our travels. The only thing about this property is there is no elevator. We had several suitcases we had to lug up a couple flights of stairs. However, staff did offer to help us up the stairs if we wanted. The property is in the heart of shopping, food, etc. Yet, even with all the activity in the street below us, we did not hear a thing in our room (that was facing the street below). We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff and property, would definitely stay here again! Loved how it was right amongst the hustle bustle of the town, but also cozy and quiet within the walls.

The location was lovely. It’s on a pedestrian walkway so parking is not on premise. The rooms are definitely snug. Parking was about an 8 minute walk. The property is close to shopping, pubs, and restaurants. There is no lift so you’re caring your bags up the stairs with the help of the staff.

Our stay was fantastic. We were in the centre of town and near all the best bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Be prepared for a very small room, but the bed was very comfortable. No amenities at this property - including no ice machines. The location is so convenient to restaurants and shopping, the lack of amenities can be over-looked.

I love The Snug! Right in the middle of Galway City; shops, restaurants, and the Craic at your doorstep. Walk to the Cathedral, UCG, and along the water to Salthill. Perfect Spot.

Great location, unusual room layouts

This location is amazing - walking distance to all the action! Very comfortable beds! Really nice shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. That said, travelers should read the descriptions carefully. The rooms are not traditional hotel rooms. Our room, which we were advised was one of the larger ones, was very efficient, but very tiny! Wall mounted knobs take the space of a closet. Don't expect a desk or chairs - there was one small folding stool. I would stay there again for one night; not sure about a longer stay

Good stay.

The hotel is in the heart of action on Quay street. It could get a little loud since there are pubs right next to it. The property did provide ear plugs and we drowned out noise with white noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no parking on site but they do have an arrangement with a garage a very short walk from the property. The room was very cozy, the shower had great water pressure.

Very convenient hotel. Right next to all the pubs and bars. We were placed on the front of the hotel and so could hear noise until early hours. If this is something that bothers you I would ask for a room that is at the back of the hotel. The Rooms are small but have most things you would need. They didn’t however have a mini fridge which I think is needed if you there for a few days. I would say this hotel is suited for younger people. No issues during stay and hotel is reasonably priced for centre of Galway

Everything about this property was absolutely perfect apart from the disturbance when the cleaners are cleaning, it sounds like the building was about to come down. If you’re wanting a sleep in, in the morning or an afternoon nap, forget it!

Great place to stay!

The Snug Townhouse is a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was helpful and offered local knowledge. The was easy and reasonably priced parking near by which we were recommended by the team at The Snug.
