The west facing sun terrace is completely away from the adjoining property, the east facing patio has a dividing 2 metre high bamboo cane screen separating it from the adjoining property. Both patios are covered and having dining tables and chairs. The medieval hill towns of Volterra & San Gimignano are both 20 minutes by car and are perfect for sight seeing, shopping or dining out. The nearest village Il Castagno is only a 5 minute drive away and provides a local restaurant. Siena, Pisa, Florence or sandy Mediterranean beaches are all just 1 hour away by car (Florence is also accessible by train from nearby Castelfiorentino). The farmhouse is surrounded by olive groves & woodland and accessed along its own private gravel road. Please note that due to its rural location car hire is essential.
