This was the worst hotel experience of our lives.
The room smelled strongly of smoke as soon as we entered. Bedsheets, pillowcases, and runners were dirty and stained. The sofa had cigarette burns, and there were cigarette butts in the corners of the room.
The headboard looked like it had been chewed by rodents and was extremely dirty. The washroom smelled horrible, the carpet near the bed was filthy, and the closet was stained.
The key card did not work properly, which added to the frustration. Staff behaviour was shocking and completely unprofessional, staff members were sleeping on the lobby floor, lying on the main reception table with their feet on top of it, and walking barefoot around the hotel.
The worst part: there were lizards running around inside the room. When we returned later that night, there were multiple cockroaches as well. We did not safe staying there.
Absolutely unacceptable conditions. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Room 305 WAS HORRIFIC.
