Awesome location if someone is looking near to Yellowstone North entrance. It’s not very far from the park and the Mountain View from the hotel is really good.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn. I intended to stay just one night but ended up extending for a second night. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I was working on a photo scavenger hunt; they gave me some tips and directions to locations I might find useful. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast each morning was home made, fresh and a great start to the day. This location is not in the middle of town so don't expect to walk anywhere for dinner or anything like that but it only a few minutes outside of Gardiner. There is a Sinclair gas station before you get to Gardiner so fueling up before you hit the the park in the morning is easy and convenient. There is also a coffee stand in the parking lot of the Sinclair if you need your caffeine in the morning. The Yellowstone Basin Inn is the perfect location for a getaway without the crowds of the park and the towns immediately adjacent to the park. I highly recommend staying here and will book this location again when I am traveling in the area.

Lots of intown "rooms" to stay in Gardiner, or 5 miles away for about the same $$ you can have a beautifully decorated superior experience overlooking the Yellowstone river and mountains. Memorable!

This Inn is out of the town so is fairly quiet You get a little noise from the highway but it is not busy at night The attention to detail of n the room and breakfast room is very good I had a very pleasant stay here

We had a wonderful relaxing 2 nite stay at the Inn. It was very clean, other than a bit of dust on headboard. Bed was comfortable and very nice linens and towels. It was also great to have a delicious breakfast included with variety. Enjoyed watching the elk in the fields each evening.

As others noted previously, the breakfast each morning was very nice. The property was close enough to the park to be convenient, but far enough that we could enjoy peace, quiet and a drink in the rocking chairs on the porch at night.
