Staying at My Hill Eco Lodge is truly an unforgettable experience. The lodge is set in a beautiful and unique location, surrounded by breathtaking nature and endless views that make you feel like you’re in heaven. Every sunrise and sunset paints the sky with colors that you can enjoy right from your room or the open terrace. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and genuine care that makes you feel at home. The food is delicious and fresh, with a breakfast that is simply outstanding one of the best ways to start your day in Rwanda. What makes this lodge so special is the privacy and tranquility it offers. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully decorated with thoughtful details, combining comfort and elegance in a way that rivals any luxury hotel. Honestly, My Hill Eco Lodge feels like a hidden gem the best hotel in Africa, offering the real charm and features of a true 5-star experience, while still staying connected to nature and local culture. If you are looking for peace, beauty, and authenticity, this is the perfect place.

Our time at My Hill Eco Lodge was deeply relaxing and truly memorable. The location is absolutely perfect — set on a hillside with what I believe are the best views of the Twin Lakes. From our room and balcony, it felt like we were perched above the lakes, giving us a sweeping, panoramic view that was simply stunning. Thanks to the large French windows opening onto the balcony, we could enjoy that breathtaking scenery right from our bed. The property is surrounded by natural beauty, and the atmosphere is serene and calming. What makes it even more special is the people. A huge shoutout to Vincent, the manager, and Esther in the restaurant. Both are incredibly warm and attentive. Vincent deserves special mention — he goes out of his way to ensure your stay is smooth. Every small issue or request is addressed with genuine care and speed. You feel like they truly want you to be happy and enjoy your time there. Yes, there are some stairs and steep walk, but it’s really manageable — and they’re always ready to help if needed. The food was great, and they even made our tea exactly the way we like it, which shows their attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, gorgeous views, and outstanding hospitality.
