This stay had both positives and negatives. The property itself was great and worked well for our family with kids ages 5, 8, and 13. The room, view, and pool were enjoyable, and you can tell the owners take pride in the property.
Unfortunately, the management company was extremely difficult to reach. We discovered a plumbing issue almost immediately upon arrival. The toilet was unusable and there was no plunger, so we had to walk to the pool building to use the restroom the first night. Despite multiple calls, long hold times, voicemails, and Hotels.com also attempting to contact them, nothing was resolved that night. We were told someone came by, but only toilet paper was left and the issue remained. We also ordered firewood and never received it.
The next morning, the maintenance lady called and promptly fixed the problem within minutes. She was kind, professional, and truly cared. She is the reason this review is not entirely negative.
Overall, not a horrible stay, but management communication and follow-through need major improvement.
