Upon checking in the code that was given wasn’t the correct code to enter the home. It took me about 15 minutes to contact someone to receive the code to get into the home. On the first floor where the sauna and pool table are located was a bit of technical difficulties. The light switch was hanging out of the wall like it was in the middle of being fixed. The light over the pool table which basically gave light to the main floor didn’t work. The sauna did not work. The hot tub did not work. Maintenance was notified of the issue and came out but wasn’t successful at completing the job so an electrician was called. The electrician wasn’t able to come out so it was dark on the main floor causing the kids having to sleep upstairs on the sofa. Electrician came out the NEXT day and stayed at the house for about 6 hours to fix all the electrical issues which delayed our day. All issues were fixed. I was told that I would be compensated for the hassles. I expected to at least be refunded for the first night’s stay due to it being an inconvenience to us and our stay having to get the kids to sleep on one sofa. It was a bit uncomfortable. I was only refunded $100. I don’t think it was fair but it’s what it is. I remained calm throughout because I understand things happen but I’m pretty sure the company was aware of the issue because the light switch was already hanging from the wall.. which was a MAJOR hazard to the kids.
