A great place to stay

This is a great place to stay besides the lake. It was clean, dinner and breakfast was great. I saw some complaints about the breakfast but I disagree. It was just perfect. Room and amneties were great, I do not see why people had written building needs updating. We did not have an issue with the temperature of hot water and pressure was perfect. I only agree with the comment about hard pillows and thanks to that I brought my own pillow. I would recommend 2nd floor pver ground floor as if you are a light sleeper like me, you can hear movements on the 2nd floor and in front of the door. We stayed at 311. Dinner was great and the server and front staff were great. I could see this as a great place for those with little kids in the summer time as it was colder last weekend and we could not enjoy oitside really.

The view of Lake Simcoe was amazing.... we stayed in a strip motels which we weren't expecting...so had to walk outside to go and get your complimentary breakfast.. The breakfast was not bad, but only 2 options to order. Pancakes or Eggs, toast and 2 sausages. The motel room was ok...Shower only...I prefer the option of a bath...the bed was hard as a rock...My husband and I both had back aches..

My room was the wrong room. The heat was cranked up on high so the room was like a sauna. Even with the heat completely off, the only thing the clerk could do to cool it off was prop open the room door. Couldn’t have the window open because there was no screen and the a/c didn’t work.

Worst excuse for breakfast we've ever had. Cold scrambled eggs, only ok sausages (luke warm), no bacon, pancakes not cooked when the new batch finally arrived barely warm, only white bread for toast, no other muffin/biscuits around, no juice, no tea/decaf coffee, no cold cereals or fruit. 1st morning the bananas were all over ripe.

Josiah checked us in…what an excellent hotel ambassador! Morning staff in restaurant were nice, helpful. Facilities ware aged… pool and change rooms need updating. Property needs landscaping. Only two hand towels and two other towels in room. This place and location could be Premier!

Not the best.

Seemed sketch. We arrived at night and from what we could see it was dingy and a mess at the back exterior and perimeter of the property where you drive around to find separate buildings where your room is and haul luggage up slippery stairs. And breakfast was back at the main building you have to walk to. Hard bed bad pillows. For an exhausted traveler it was meh. Once morning came around I could see it is a beautiful location on the water but still lacks charm.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean. We were there mid week in winter to ice fish so there was low occupancy. I wasn’t expecting a ton of staff, but there were some maintenance issues for the hot tub and snow clearing to walk from one area to the other that were lacking. The price for the location was very reasonable though and Georgina and surrounding area are amazing! Very satisfied overall
