The room was ok. It needed updating and there was visible dirt/dust on the legs of the table, the ice bucket, the floors, etc. The pool was freezing cold but it was also cold outside so maybe it was to be expected. The hot tub was decent. Overnight there were dogs (that’s right, plural) barking in one of the rooms. It was close to midnight when we went to complain about it, too late to be moving my small children to another hotel. The front desk knocked on their door. It stopped for a while but the barking continued intermittently. The kids enjoyed the waffle maker for breakfast but they lacked anything else fresh or healthy. There were guests smoking directly outside the front doors at all hours. The smell couldn’t be avoided as the hotel lobby and hotel itself are very small. You get what you pay for; it was cheap. However, it was convenient to Gettysburg attractions and Liberty Mountain Resort. We won’t be staying there again.

Room was clean. Wish the chairs were a little nicer. Extremely nice indoor pool. Breakfast was OK as there was neither meat nor (expensive) eggs. Very festive setup for Christmas. Nit picking here as it was nice. But watch out as there’s no elevator.

Ask to be moved if they put you in room 109 it is right next to the lobby and very loud, even as late as midnight conversations of guests and workers were loud and keeps you awake. Everything else was fine, the staff was nice and the room was clean. Hotel staff should maybe only put people in that room as a last resort.
