The property was within easy walking of the main town of Stresa and much less expensive than the large hotels. It was also very convenient for accessing the ferries to the Borromean islands, a jewel of Lake Maggiore. The hotel decor was luxurious and the restaurant, which served a full buffet breakfast, overlooked a patio and gardens. The view from the roof top terrace was lovely. The only hitch was that I could not get the WiFi in my room to work so I had to use the WiFi in the main lounge. Overall, however, this was a very pleasant experience.

Room was lovely and comfortable with a Great Lake view. Hotel was very pleasant and some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but some were grumpy and made us feel uncomfortable especially in the restaurant.

The place is a lite outdated, however not in the sense ru down Beaitifuly located over looking the lake. Short walk to the ferry to the islamds. Very convenient. Staff is wonderfull and I recommend

Fairly comfortable but AC didn’t work well and there was no ceiling fan. No shower but I really did enjoy the large bathtub! Breakfast was nice. Towels were old and somewhat stained. We appreciated that parking was free and there was a fridge in the room. We wouldn’t stay here again though.
