Really nice stay

This was a great place for the price, I would stay here again. The showers are cold water but we really enjoyed the bed it was comfy. No bugs or anything either and great quiet location

The staff are very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable but need to prepare own toiletries. It is only a little far from the beach area and the surrounding was dark at night.

We booked in Syifa and ended up somewhere else since they had already booked our room. We found a dirty room with no AC that was not worth what we paid for. I would NOT recommend going there.

Trevligt men AC är ett måste

Bra läge, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, helt okej frukost, hårda sängar, fläktrummen är hemska så AC är ett måste, bra cykeluthyrning, mindre bra städar och ingen städning under vistelsen.

Het is er smerig, het stinkt, slecht bed, waardeloze douche, zwak internet. Was de goedkoopste die wij op Gilli konden vinden, maar nog steeds veelte duur voor wat je krijgt. Gilli trawangan is ook niet de moeite waard, 2 dagen waren ook meer dan genoeg.

Das Syifa Homestay ist was die Zimmer anbelangt wirklich unterste Klasse. Wir waren eine Nacht in einem Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage (nur mit Ventilator) - es war schrecklich; das Zimmer glich einer Sauna. Das durchaus nette Personal bot uns dann am gegen Aufpreis von 100.000rp in das benachbarte Geralds Homestay umzuziehen (die beiden gehören irgendwie zusammen). Dort angekommen war das Bad und Klo ein kleiner Schock! Fairerweise muss man sagen, dass es vermutlich überall eher dürftig im Vergleich zu europäischen Standards ist. Aber kein warmes Wasser + alles verkalkt und ein komplett verostetes Waschbecken. Wir entschieden uns am 2ten Tag Fahrräder auszuleihen, was man bei den Preisen für ein Kutschentaxi nur empfehlen kann! Allerdings sollte man dies nicht im Syifa bzw. Geralds Homestay, den die Fahrräder (50.000rp pro Tag u. Rad) sind ebenfalls das mindeste was man bekommt. (lieber ums gleiche Geld am Strand eines mieten, die sind in gutem Zustand)

Otrevlig personal, bo inte här!!

Först när vi kom dit tog det jättelång tid för killen att hitta vår bokning, men tillslut sa han att eftersom vi bokat med AC skulle vi få bo på ett annat boende precis intill, det var samma ägare på båda boenden. Rummet var ok, men oskön säng och kuddar och handfatet var typ mögligt. Vi frågade i receptionen om de ville ha våra pass men de sa att de inte behövde nånting. Dagen efter knackade en av killarna på dörren och var arg och sa att vi måste flytta eftersom vi bokat med fan och inte ac. Det hade vi ingen koll på och sa att killen igår flyttade oss hit pga att vi hade bokat med AC. Men han tyckte det var vårt fel och skrek på oss att vi var dum i huvudet som inte kom igår och checkade in ordentligt, fast vi hade frågat om de ville ha våra uppgifter. Han ville inte höra på. Visst det är inget hotell, men man får väl ändå visa sina gäster respekt. Men det puckot lyckades förstöra vår vistelse. Vi skulle bara bo en natt till och eftersom vi blev så arga tillbaka fick vi bo kvar i samma rum den natten. Men de struntade i att städa vårt rum. Om någon funderar på att bo här, gör inte det. Det är verkligen långt ifrån värt pengarna.

We booked a room in syifa but because we booked with AC they immediately mowed us to the hotel next door called Stallion. Really nice and helpful staff and nice garden. Perfect walk from main street.
