Room could do with an upgrade. Didn’t like the small bath with shower attachment. Breakfast was very disappointing, in fact we had to stop at services for food on the way back. Parking was a nightmare eventually had to park on a side street as the hotel car park is shared with Waitrose reserved spaces and residents who live around the hotel. Front of desk was very poor, communication skills were not the best, night time front of house was fantastic, friendly, happy to help. Overall for the price wasn’t value for money.

The hotel location is good for Byers Road and all it has to offer. The hotel staff were lovely and the room was ok, albeit dated.

In general room was ok a light in bathroom was out and the expelair didn’t seem to be working. The tv connection was needing to be repaired. One of the lifts was not working. All the staff were helpful and very courteous

Rooms are very nice. Tv not good, only a few channels. When booking they should tell you car parking is not free it’s an additional £10 per night. If this was mentioned in the booking I would not have stayed. Overall it’s ok

The staff were helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good. The downside of this hotel is the limited on-site parking; staff were able to direct us to nearby on-street parking, but that is expensive (not the hotel's fault, it is run by the city).

Great location and friendly staff. Booked deluxe double but room (210) was disappointing, not as nice as photos on website and more like the pictures of a standard room. Breakfast mediocre, only bread was sliced standard supermarket type loaf, no veggie option on the hot buffet. In fairness we stayed over New Year which may have had an impact.
