Comfortable room

Rang in advance to tell Reception we would be arriving after 10.30pm, she said it was no trouble. When we got there the young lady was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She told us where there was plenty of tea coffee and milk if we needed it - which we did after a long journey. The hotel itself was a little dated but it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a good quiet nights sleep. We would definitely use it again.

Disappointed

The hotel was surrounded by litter. There was a notice at the entrance telling guests not to smoke there but there were people standing and sitting on the steps smoking constantly and no one stopped them. Our room was ground floor at the entrance to the hotel so we could hear constant talking.

Perfect for what we needed. Friendly check-in and comfy bed, we slept really well! Good value too and easy for getting into Glasgow (Croy station is 8 mins away!) and much cheaper than staying in the city.

Will definitely stay here again

It exceeded our expectations especially for the price. We just needed a shelter to rest before our trip but this was more than a shelter. It was clean, comfortable, peaceful and quite spacious.

Honest review.

Had two nights here. The room was basic and some things didn’t work (electric heater/cooler). Our room was above the area that people were smoking outside so every night there was the smell of cigarette smoke coming in the room. Window would not shut properly so this couldn’t be stopped. A few cosmetic issues in the room but certainly nothing to worry about. Staff was very friendly and approachable and happy to help. Maids cleaned our room while we was out 🙂 There’s an area for drinks were you can help yourself. I’d probably stay again 🙂
