Perfect Short Break Hotel

Another fantastic stay at this hotel. We've stayed here a few times now when we've had early travel plans from the bus or train stations in Glasgow. The rooms are comfortable, surprisingly spacious, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is included and has all the usual staples you'd expect from a breakfast buffet. We also had time to relax in the bar area, which is comfortable and well-stocked, and affords a good bit of people-watching from the big glass windows! Ever member of staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming and we had excellent service throughout our stay. The location is perfect if you're planning to explore Glasgow city centre.

Not bad considering it is a franchisee hotel

It’s a franchisee hotel. The rooms appear new. The real disappointment was the TV. When I checked in I was able to use the smart features on the TV and stream Youtube from my phone to the TV. But after going out for dinner and coming back the TV would not connect to WiFi. And the next whole day, maintenance struggled trying to get the smart features working back. At the end saying it is not available on TVs in other room so I don’t know how it was working in your room.

Had a 2 night stay. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Room immaculate. Very central location. Breakfast was good, though disappointed there were no potato scones/ black pudding on offer. Will definitely stay again .

Ever felt like sardines

Location is great, breakfast was great, service was great but the room was so small. We had a family room with a sofa bed and a full sized bed. We also had a double buggy for a 3 year old and a 6 month old. We had myself who is disabled and my daughter who is mother of the children. Even when the sofa bed was folded there was just no room to get around. I struggled with my walking stick and my 3 year old grandson bumped his head often while playing due to the height of the facings. I genuinely believe the rooms are suitable for adults only and I don’t think sofa beds should be squeezed in as the rooms are small enough.

Staff on the whole very friendly although one woman who was on the front desk in the evening wasn’t very helpful Breakfast is really good, great selection. Pretty central, you can walk to everything. Great Katsu restaurant, done out like a proper Tokyo diner, strangely authentic, with great food

All the staff were fabulous from the front desk to the breakfast staff to the housekeeping.. Breakfast was hot and awesome everyday Will be back there and would highly recommend to everyone Great access to shopping, they also went out of there way to find us a wheelchair rental company ( that dropped off and picked up from the hotel) If you book any bus tours you are literally right across the street from the pick up and drop off location

miserable night

I have stayed in this hotel many many times over the last 8 years and enjoyed my time. This visit was disappointing. I was allocated room 462 which only has a wall as a view. The bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep and until past 3 am very noisy neighbours . This is all unusual. I am a business client and have meetings all day - not good !
