The hotel staff were, by and large, attentive and helpful - front desk service via Hayden was good; Geordie was a top bloke in the bar and Aliyah (despite being watched like a hawk by Carolina) was great in the restaurant area.
The down sides to the hotel - the lamb shank was as tough as leather; the water flow from the shower in my room was rubbish as were the hot and cold taps. A gratuity is automatically added to the restaurant bill - they're not alone in adopting this approach, but they hide it better than others - and the food experience was poor. In summary, a decent set of staff, but the food and room facilities left a lot to be desired. I won't be going back in a hurry, but I wouldn't say I'd never go back - it was a bang average experience!
