The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was excellent, The hotel was completely different to anywhere else I’ve stayed. It was interesting and welcoming. Only thing I would ask for is a 2nd chair in the bedroom! I would certainly recommend it and hopefully will have another stay there.
I come up to Glasgow for work every other week and have done for 3 years. I’ve stayed in most of the big name hotels and some smaller ones around the centre. The Social Hub is BY FAR the best in the city. Lovely rooms, great staff and yummy breakfast. Also very reasonably priced. Honestly, don’t bother staying anywhere else
It was the greatest place I've stayed in my whole life and i would recommended it to my friends and family if they are looking for somewhere to stay for break.
We really enjoyed staying at this property. The staff was friendly upon arrival and gave us a sweet treat. The facilities were perfect. There was so many extras including a pool table, ping pong table, restaurant and more.
It was our first stay. We loved everything about the hotel. Amazing, polite attentive young staff. Full of energy and positivity! Our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our room was spacious with everything we needed. We opted to pay for the buffet breakfast, it was outstanding!
Great location, 20 minutes to the main bus station by foot. Fantastic that there was free washer and dryer to be used anytime. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Good coffee and best variety of fruit juice that I have ever seen at a buffet breakfast. Great staff.
This property was really easy to get to from Glasgow Central. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have checked in early and they have a complimentary late check out up to 1 hour, which was so helpful! I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was a very nice style and the room was a great size. Ground floor shared facilities were great. Downsides were the room was not cleaned at all during the 3 night stay (returning back in the evenings to find the rooms still not cleaned), room was very dusty in the soft furnishings and bed, and the sound proofing wasn’t very good - my room was near the lift (room 433) and I could hear the lift announcement from the bed (‘going down’ etc) and the slamming of the staff entrance / cleaners cupboard next to the lift. With ear plugs, I had a great sleep still, but I didn’t have them the first two nights and it was difficult to get a full nights sleep. The value of the stay was still very good regardless of this, but improving housekeeping and addressing some of the soundproofing would change this from a decent place to stay to a great one.
It was all very unique, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast, only one thing I would change is the lighting in the bedroom seemed really dark. Apart from that really lovely stay.
The atmosphere was so welcoming loved my stay and the haggis was fantastic all absolutely 💯 thankyou much appreciated Theresa

Liked: Staff & service
Given a room with the squeakiest of beds. The staff were lovely and got us another room without issue. Whole setup was pretty odd for me but obviously that’s personal choice. Place looks unfinished upstairs and the walls are definitely not soundproof. Quite surprised at the rave reviews tbh but for the price it was ok.
This is honestly such a great space. New, clean and very spacious rooms with larger beds than a lot of other options in the city. Very central and within walking distance to restaurants/shopping ect. I stay here every time in Glasgow. The customer service is exceptional and they tend to go above and beyond. Highly recommended. There’s ping pong/ billiards/ and a gaming system in the lobby so would even be a great space for kids.
This is a good, comfortable hotel located centrally within walking distance of both Central and Queen Street stations. Overall, the hotel was decent for the price and felt like a good spot with an atmosphere in the evenings.
The room was comfortable for the most part, however the bed was very creaky on one side and made a lot of noise at the slightest movement making it somewhat difficult to get to sleep. The room itself was clean and well maintained otherwise, although there were glasses and cutlery left outside many of the other rooms in the corridor which weren't cleaned up for the two days we were there (possibly from students/tenants as the property also offers an "extended stay" option as well as short hotel stays).
All in all a good experience and would consider staying again.
