Location was lovely, the house is historic and a lovely garden that we looked out over from our room. Breakfast and dinner were very good and dining service good too. Just a note to others no room service unless you hang out the door card which they don’t tell you about so we went without any room service for our whole 3 night stay. Our bathroom cold tap wasn’t working but shower was good. Loud noises occurred from 2-5am each night, never got to the bottom of cause, sounded like furniture being moved or loud heating-water pipes? But when this wasn’t gong on it was peaceful. Overall it was a great location with some shops nearby for supplies and would stay again.

Staff genuinely friendly, polite and are always happy to be helpful, even above and beyond the call of duty. That coupled with the well kept and gorgeous building and surrounding land, made my stay perfect. The atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel itself, and then the back drop of a beautiful sky and horizon, and the woodlands surrounding, it’s just the perfect place to quickly, but with slow luxury, be able to unwind and recharge at the same time. Rooms always spotless, the pool is fabulous. Always great food in the evenings, with a great variety of tasty dishes. Lovely aesthetic bar with a good selection. Beautiful garden dining and drinks area that spills out onto the larger garden area which naturally leads into the woodlands. A spectacle of nature at night. Solid breakfast options. Great parking facilities. Safe surroundings. The staff. The staff. The staff. Consistently doing their job of making you feel like you’re at home, and like you’re a valued part of the family.

Culinary disaster, worse than poor breakfast, went elsewhere 2nd day. Warning signs were there night before , overcooked and over priced fare. Theres a Loveley inn 2 mins away, near a holiday type establishment. Hotel didn’t deal, expedia say tied by T+Cs,,,.. go figure, Wont be booking again,

We had a nice stay overall. The spa was great and very relaxing. Dinner was good and breakfast was OK. However, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the walls are quite thin — we could hear noise from other rooms. Nice staff and atmosphere, but sleep quality could be improved.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at Balbeggie. Room was lovely with a lovely view out over the garden. Food was delicious with plenty of choice. Fantastic cocktails at a really good price. All staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back.

Great location for a wee getaway!

Beautiful comfortable room with an extra bed for our daughter. Lovely friendly staff on reception and in the bar and restaurant. Great quality evening meal and breakfast. Great setting. Would love to come back. Added bonus of a pool to enjoy with steam room!
