The Homestead: Elegant Victorian & Maids Quarters

A unique private estate, rich in history and natural beauty. The home was the residence of Benjamin F. Butler, the colorful Civil War general and Massachusetts governor, still belonging to his descendants. Enjoy fifty-five rolling acres of meadows, forest, marsh grass, and rocky granite shoreline, with a white-sand crescent beach, and a flat mica beach.
You will have use of the Main House (5BR) and the Maids Quarters (2BR), which is a separate, private residence, with a separate entrance.
Make yourself comfortable in your air-conditioned vacation home. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a washing machine and an iron/ironing board.
