Did not get key access for back gate until a few days later. The host seemed annoyed that the real estate had called them on xmas eve. It was supposed to have been given to us. Not enough cleaning solution left for a 2 week stay. Vacuum cleaner not working well. Overall the stay was tidy and clean on arrival.

I would have stayed a week if I could have! More time to enjoy more cups of tea on the deck with the sound of birdsong and the gently flowing river below. This place is idyllic. Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. The owners were helpfully responsive to my email enquiry before our stay, but left us alone to enjoy the experience when we were there. The cottages are well away from the house and the garden is designed so that the cottages are fairly private from each other.

Beautiful home positioned on top of a hill, outlook from there property was stunning.There house was well equipped for our stay. It was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to friends and family for a wonderful treetop getaway.
