This was a lovely hotel in a nice quiet area just a few minutes drive to Kicking Horse Ski Resort. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back! Rooms are comfortable with plenty of natural light and even a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers!

The lodge is under new ownership and doing some renovations, but it has a great location and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The addition of a hot-tub would make the lodge almost perfect.

I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning. The front desk staff were consistently pleasant and helpful, the wood‑burning fire in the lobby was such a cozy touch, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. I had everything I needed. I also really appreciated being able to text with the front desk—it made communication quick and easy.

The Lodge and Lantern has a grand and welcoming foyer, with friendly staff and a massive warm fireplace, complete with a crackling fire and cozy couch. Our room was clean and fresh with a comfy bed. We enjoyed a coffee before we left. Beautiful river view from our room!

The entire check in and check out process was seamless as it was all done online. The front desk staff was kind and communication was excellent. It was a little noisy as the walls are quite thin. We also found a small bug in the shower, but the rest of the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our experience last year was better than this time around, but we understand the lodge is currently undergoing renovations. It was overall a good stay, and we hope to come back next time once the changes are completed.
