This home is close to restaurants. You will love my space because of its views, the environment, and The location that is only 5 km from the center of the city of Porto. My space is ideal for couples, families (with children).
This space is great for spending a season or just a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city routine. It is an ideal place to enjoy a few days of relaxation in a splendid house and with privileged views over the river Douro. At the same time you can combine this experience with visits to the city of Porto, bicycle tours along the river as well as boat or car trips to Douro Vinhateiro.

Beautiful river house

We really enjoyed our stay at this house-- the view of the river from the multiple balconies was fantastic. The house itself is gorgeous inside and out. Caveat: As others have noted, a regularly used river road goes right by the house, so one should expect road noise. Since we had read other reviews mentioning this, we were prepared and it was ok for us (although on Sunday around mid-morning when all of the motorcycles were out for a ride, it was a bit much). Our host was wonderful and was super-responsive. We had some confusion about how the door key code thing worked and Carolina was very helpful with getting us unstuck; similarly for other minor issues we had during our stay.Highly recommended!

INCREDIBLE VIEW!

Unfortunately the house has no air-conditioning and opening the windows was imposible because of the cars at night as the house is next to a main road as well as dogs barking, None of the six of us sleep well. On Saturday from noon to midnight very very loud thumping music from the beach across the river. One broken chair in dinning room table. Dark living room. Had to keep the lights on. Cold pool though it was the middle of summer. The latch on the door of the master bedroom was broken. Cold pool though it was the middle of summer. It is a pity because the house has such an amazing view.

Riverside with a Beautiful View

Nice, clean and spacious. We had ants, but they had bug spray. Very new construction. Automatic shades were a great addition. This is the place to stay if you get a rent car. Ricardo from Tours by Local will pick you up.

Great property...

We were 8 adults travelling together. When we arrived, we were very pleased by that property, exactly has described; just in front of the Douro and with a pool. During our stay, May 27 to June 8, 2019, the temperature was very hot for this period. Regarding the beds, they are not for 8 adults. more 4 adults and 4 children. Plan bringing more than just food, like toilet paper, Scott Towels and earplugs because we could'ntstart the air conditionner and the road just down the property is very noisy. I stayed here for 3 days with my group of 6 people. It was so comfortable and beautiful. The view is to die for. The location, as well as the actual house, felt very safe. It has many amenities, including the use of a private pool; the balcony and pool area look out onto Douro River, where you can see fishermen and river cruise ships passing by. We loved the view so much that six hours on the veranda passed in the blink of an eye. The owners met us at the house upon arrival and checked up with us during our stay, which was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house to other travelers.
