Service was substandard, lacklustre at the samaan 3. Staff and management were indifferent to the needs of the guests and service was bordering on discrimination.
Service from the supervisor was cold and impersonal and not in keeping with the hilton brand.
We ordered burgers and asked for bbq sauce but did not get any other condiments which I had to go get myself.
On my 3rd day there, we could not eat the same menu so we ordered kfc. We stopped at bar for few drinks before goin to our room. We were told rudely that we cannot eat outside food here. WE WERE NOT EATING THE KFC. Mind you, the day before I saw some other guests with french accents open a 2 litre drink and share it at their table. And on the veranda, people were also eating outside food.SO IS IT DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS.
The 3 nights I went to Samaan i received bad service and was made to feel discriminated.
When we sat on the lounge chairs where there was a menu- l was told at they don't serve food there. The very next day I saw people eating on the lounge. I felt hurt and embarrased.
No one asked if i needed help with my 3 ags seeing as my husband walks with a cane.
Herbs and spices were generally good especially Kaylene...Rhea and Tommy.
However, i noticed a guy asking a server for coffee and he was told there is a station over there. Some other servers were bringing drinks for other guests.
All in all..i will not be returning to hilton trindad ever after thai experience. Pls feel free to c
